What is Iron Collective?
Iron Collective is a unique group for men centered on exploring our identity in Jesus, prioritizing curiosity, trust, and commitment over a fixed curriculum or book.
We emphasize sharing our stories, uncovering shame, and encouraging a pursuit of anchoring our lives in Jesus.
What's in Store:
-
Group makeup: Small group of men.
-
Frequency: 2 meetings per month.
-
Commitment: 1 year.
What to Expect:
The Iron Collective group is comprised of two main movements: Story and Mask.
In Story, we use the Box Talk to share significant moments of our lives and how they shaped us. We also discuss our present lives by asking one another, "How are you?" and answering in the realm of feelings not facts.
Mask addresses how we attempt to conceal our insecurities and shame. We identify the "core lie(s)" we're tempted to believe and, through genuine community, remind one another of the truth. We conclude the year with a blessing and commissioning for guys to further engage in this journey.
Your Commitment:
By joining Iron Collective, you're committing to show up and participate in all meetings. Additionally, you're committing to furthering the work of Iron Collective in your own life and in the lives of those around you.
The Ultimate Outcome:
Showing up each day, anchored in our identity in Jesus.
